Location: Tündérbölcső Family Center, Budapest, Hungary

- in the magical garden of a Waldorf-inspired kindergarten.

Languages: English and Hungarian

- plus many helping hands and lots of smiles

Organiser: Szatyor Association in cooperation with Tündérbölcső Family Center

What will we do?

During this 3-week volunteer program, we will:

Create and build together:

  • Build a natural-material fence for a new play area in the garden
  • Clean and tend the garden, rake leaves, compost
  • Design and build a barefoot path for little feet, using materials like pebbles, twigs, mulch, and sand
  • Make playful, nature-based outdoor toys (e.g. balance beams, stone spirals)

Cook together daily – joyfully, healthily, and as a team!

Occasionally play and do crafts with children – we’ll be in daily contact with the local children’s summer camp, join shared activities, and help support the camp.

Who are we?

We are a dedicated Waldorf community where children grow up surrounded by love, nature, and creativity. Every summer, we organize themed arts and adventure camps for them – and now we invite you to join us in expanding our kindergarten and nursery garden!

Our main activity: Childcare services through an alternative, child-centered Family Nursery, Kindergarten, Daycare, and Playgroup.

"Children’s souls at the center."
