Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed…
That’s why the work in our garden is always in process!
These weeks we took care of the garden trying to give new roles to the dead plants: in order to speed up the decomposition process, we cut them in small pieces and then we put them above the ground, to cover and protect buds and seeds from future frosts; the rest was added to the hill we made using the Hugelkultur technique and that will give us the perfect soil to start our greengarden next spring!
We also learned how to cut the wood manually, colder days are coming and we don’t want to be unprepared!
