HOW MUCH WATER I WASTE EVERY TIME I GO OUT
I decided to calculate how much water I used every time I went out partying with my friends... the result left me speechless:
I start by showering, and the average number of liters used per 10 minutes of showering amounts to 96 liters; after the shower I have some dinner. In order for us to have a kilo of rice in our homes, 3,000 liters of water had to be invested.
I often like to go out with a cup of coffee first, and to produce one cup of coffee, 140 liters are needed.
Once I'm with my friends, I can drink four pints in the course of an evening. Four pints equals 2 liters of beer, which takes 360 liters of water to produce.
In conclusion: the total amount of liters for one night amounts to 3,596 liters.
After this impatient news, I would like you to know a curious fact: for every 250 ml of alcohol we ingest, our body expels between 800 ml and 1 liter of water. What do you think about it?
